Cisco ACI Project – L II | L III

Introduction: We are seeking a skilled and
motivated ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) Engineer. The ACI Engineer
will be responsible for implementing and managing of Cisco's ACI solutions in
the customer environment, ensuring a robust, secure, and scalable network
infrastructure. This role requires an in-depth understanding of Cisco ACI, SDN
principles, and network automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• ACI Solution Deployment: Design, configure,
  and implement Cisco ACI fabrics to meet business and technical
  requirements.
• ACI Network Management: Administer,
  maintain, and troubleshoot ACI networks, ensuring optimal performance,
  scalability, and security.
• Automation & Scripting: Utilize automation
  tools (e.g., Python, Ansible) to streamline ACI deployments, updates, and
  configurations.
• Policy Definition: Define and
  implement application policies and security policies in ACI, ensuring
  alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
• Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with
  networking, security, and application teams to ensure seamless ACI
  integration with data center, cloud, and edge environments.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide Tier 2/3
  troubleshooting support for ACI-related issues, including fault detection,
  performance tuning, and incident management.
• Documentation: Create and
  maintain comprehensive network diagrams, configuration documentation, and
  runbooks for ACI environments.
• Compliance & Security: Implement and
  enforce network security policies and ensure ACI systems adhere to
  security standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 10+
  years of experience in network engineering with a focus on Cisco ACI.
• Certifications: Cisco Certified
  Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  certification required; Cisco Certified Network Professional – ACI (CCNP
  ACI) or higher is preferred.
• Technical Expertise:
  • In-depth knowledge of
    Cisco ACI architecture, components (APIC, Leafs, Spines), and policies
    (Tenant, VRF, EPG, L4-L7 integration).
  • Strong knowledge of
    network protocols such as VXLAN, BGP, and STP in an ACI context.
  • Experience with ACI
    integration with VMware.
  • Understanding of
    network security concepts such as micro-segmentation, firewalls, and VPNs
    in the ACI environment.
  • Proficiency in
    automation and scripting languages like Python, Ansible, or PowerShell
    for ACI-related tasks.
  • Familiarity with REST
    APIs and tools like Postman for automating ACI management.
• Networking Knowledge:
  • Strong foundation in
    network design principles and protocols (Layer 2, Layer 3, and Layer
    4-7).
  • Experience with
    traditional and SDN-based networking architectures.
  • Experience in Data
    Center networks, including high availability, disaster recovery, and load
    balancing.
• Problem Solving: Excellent
  troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in complex network environments.
• Communication: Strong verbal and
  written communication skills with the ability to document technical
  solutions clearly.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ACI
  multi-site & Macro-Segmentation deployments and integrations.
• Familiarity with Cisco
  UCS (Unified Computing System) and Cisco Nexus switches.
• Hands-on experience with
  AlgoSec products & solution such as AppViz Discovery module, Firewall
  Analyzer, Firewall Policy Manager, Network Security Management
