Role Overview:
Automation Development:
- Design and implement automation scripts and workflows to collect data from various infrastructure devices.
- Use tools like Python, Perl, Ansible, PowerShell, and REST APIs to build scalable and reusable collectors.
- Integrate with ZENfra’s ingestion pipeline and ensure data is structured and normalized for analysis.
- Infrastructure Integration:
- Work across diverse environments including on-prem, hybrid, and cloud setups.
- Interface with storage, backup, compute, and network platforms to extract relevant configuration and performance data.
Product Enablement:
- Support ZENfra product implementation across customer environments.
- Collaborate with consulting and engineering teams to ensure automation aligns with customer use cases and ZENfra capabilities.
Customer Support & Success:
- Assist in troubleshooting automation issues and support customer onboarding.
- Provide technical documentation and training to internal teams and customers.
- Act as a technical liaison between customers and product teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure automation, scripting, or DevOps roles.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Perl, Ansible, PowerShell, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with infrastructure platforms such as VMware, NetApp, Dell EMC, Veritas, Commvault, Cisco, etc.
- Familiarity with data collection protocols (SNMP, SSH, WMI, etc.).
- Experience in product implementation and customer support is a strong plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across customer engagements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of ZENfra or similar data collection and analysis platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
