Description
Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and maintain Ixia chassis, load modules, and
IxOS/IxNetwork.
• Develop and execute network performance and traffic simulation tests.
• Troubleshoot issues related to test beds, hardware, software, and traffic
flows.
• Monitor test scripts and automate repetitive testing tasks.
• Work closely with network, QA, and development teams to validate system
performance.
• Maintain documentation for test cases, network setups, and system
configurations.
• Ensure optimal performance and availability of Ixia test environments.
Must Have Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with Ixia Platforms (IxOS, IxNetwork, IxLoad).
• Knowledge of L2/L3 networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN, BGP, OSPF, Routing,
Switching).
• Experience with traffic generation, performance testing, and network
simulation.
• Ability to analyze packet captures and troubleshoot network issues.
• Scripting experience (Python/TCL) for test automation.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals and test methodologies.
