We are seeking an experienced Business Systems
Analyst (BSA) with strong expertise in the banking and financial
services domain and hands-on experience in Workcase/Workflow Management
systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap
between business needs and technology solutions by gathering requirements,
analyzing processes, and delivering functional specifications that support
strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate
with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather,
analyze, and document business requirements. - Translate
business needs into functional requirements, use cases, user stories,
and workflow diagrams. - Work on
Workcase Management systems (e.g., Pega, Appian, IBM BPM,
ServiceNow, or equivalent) to support automation and process optimization. - Conduct
gap analysis, feasibility studies, and impact assessments for new
and existing banking applications. - Support
the design of workflow automation, case routing, and rule-based
decision-making in banking processes. - Perform
system analysis, data mapping, and validation to ensure alignment
with business requirements. - Partner
with QA teams to define test plans, acceptance criteria, and UAT
support. - Ensure
solutions comply with regulatory, security, and audit requirements
in the banking industry. - Act as
a liaison between business units, technology teams, and external
vendors to ensure project success. - Prepare
process documentation, training materials, and executive-level
presentations.
Required Skills &
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s
degree in business administration, Information Systems, Finance, or
related field. - 5–8
years of Business Systems Analysis experience, with at least 3+ years in
the banking/financial services domain. - Strong
knowledge of retail/commercial banking, payments, lending, KYC/AML, or
regulatory compliance processes. - Hands-on
experience in Workcase/Workflow Management platforms (e.g., Pega,
Appian, IBM BPM, ServiceNow, or similar). - Proficiency
in creating BRDs, FRDs, Use Cases, User Stories, RTMs, and process
flows (BPMN, UML). - Familiarity
with SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools for requirement
validation. - Excellent
analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the
ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical
stakeholders.
