Details:
The VCF Operations Senior Consultant will implement architecture designs, configure dashboards, policies, super metrics, alerts, symptoms, custom views, and reports tailored to customer requirements, and ensure monitoring is operationalized for Day-2 activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure VCF Operations in customer VCF 9 environments.
- Integrate VCF Operations with vSphere, NSX, vSAN, and other integration components as needed.
- Build and validate dashboards, alerts, and reports based on design specifications.
- Build notification rules and integrate with ticketing systems as needed/supported.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize monitoring performance.
- Document build steps, dashboards, and policies for customer reference.
- Provide knowledge transfer and operational handoff to customer teams.
- Work closely with the VCF Operations Architect to ensure design objectives are met.
Required Skills & Experience

5+ years VMware consulting or delivery experience.

Hands-on experience implementing and configuring VCF Operations (vROps).

Familiarity with VMware Cloud Foundation 5.2 and exposure to VCF 9.

Strong technical knowledge of vSphere, NSX, and vSAN.

Experience with creating custom dashboards, policies, super metrics, alerts, symptoms, custom views, and reports for enterprise customers.

Familiarity with compliance reporting and capacity forecasting in enterprise environments.
- Experience integrating VCF Operations with third-party tools or APIs.
Certifications

- Preferred - VMware Certified Professional – VMware Cloud Foundation Administrator (2V0-17.25)
- Optional - VMware Cloud Foundation Architect (2V0-13.25)
