Solution Architect (Storage & Backup)

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with expertise in Enterprise Storage and Backup to design managed infrastructure solutions for enterprise customers. The architect will work closely with customer technical teams, gather requirements, create High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD/LLD), and support implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze customer requirements for Storage and Backup solutions.
• Design enterprise Storage and Backup architectures based on customer needs.
• Create and maintain High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
• Work with customer architects, technical authorities, and implementation teams to review and finalize solution designs.
• Support the implementation team by answering design questions and updating documentation when required.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, best practices, and governance.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in Infrastructure Solution Architecture.
• Strong expertise in Enterprise Storage technologies (SAN, NAS, Block/File Storage).
• Experience with Backup solutions such as Commvault, NetBackup, Veeam, Data Domain, or similar platforms.
• Experience designing enterprise storage and backup environments.
• Strong documentation skills, including HLD and LLD creation.
• Ability to work directly with customers and technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with managed infrastructure services.
• Knowledge of Dell EMC, NetApp, Hitachi, HPE, IBM, or Pure Storage solutions.
• Familiarity with implementation and onboarding processes.
• Experience working in global enterprise environments.

Responsibilities During Engagement:

• Participate in solution discovery and requirement gathering.
• Produce and obtain approval for HLD and LLD documentation.
• Support implementation teams during the build phase.
• Update design documents based on technical feedback when necessary.

Nice to Have:

• ITIL Foundation
• Storage or Backup vendor certifications (Dell EMC, NetApp, Veeam, Commvault, etc.)
• Experience supporting enterprise managed services.
