Scope:
- The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes DevOps Engineer for a long term client project. The ideal candidate will have a strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and a solid understanding of CI/CD practices. You will be responsible for deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, implementing GitOps methodologies, and supporting cloud infrastructure using automation tools and scripting.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters on GKE.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitOps tools.
- Utilize Git platforms (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, SVN) for version control.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate CI/CD best practices.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform and ArgoCD.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in cloud environments using Linux and shell scripting.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with GitOps, Kubernetes, Linux, GCP, and GKE.
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Experience with ArgoCD for continuous delivery.
- Application development experience using Python, Go, or Java is a plus.
Qualifications:
- 6-9 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps, and container orchestration.
- Proven experience with GCP and GKE.
