Description
Responsibilities:
- Software Stack Architecture:
- Design and architect HPC software stack solutions across multiple phases, ensuring robust integration of components such as orchestration, monitoring, and containerization.
- Performance Optimization:
- Analyze and implement both proprietary and open-source performance optimization tools for maximizing system efficiency.
- Cluster Parallelization Strategy:
- Architect parallelization solutions using MPI, OpenMP, and other relevant open-source tools, ensuring optimized workload distribution across nodes.
- Application Development Tools and Libraries:
- Define and select appropriate proprietary and open-source development tools, application libraries, and frameworks for HPC applications.
- Container Management Architecture:
- Design scalable container management solutions using Singularity to ensure seamless execution of containerized applications across the HPC environment.
- Security & Compliance:
- Architect solutions with a strong focus on cybersecurity, ensuring the system complies with internal and external security standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- 7+ years of experience in designing and architecting large-scale HPC environments.
- Deep knowledge of orchestration, monitoring, performance optimization, and cluster parallelization tools.
- Experience with AWS services (DCV, EnginFrame), CIQ tools (Singularity, Fuzzball), and Bright BCM.
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices in HPC environments.
- Ability to architect scalable and efficient software stacks.
